SUZUKI KEY ACCESS POLICY
Overall, it is the policy of American Suzuki Motor Corporation to support the NASTF Secure Data Release Model (SDRM).
American Suzuki Motor Corporation offers for the Vehicle Security Professional Community, 24/7 access to vehicle security information for pre-approved locksmiths and technicians. Data includes mechanical key codes, electronic key codes, immobilizer reset codes, and related information, by V.I.N.
Enrolled locksmiths will use the "LSID" (Locksmiths Identification Number) to gain access to Suzuki's data. These LSID records will be maintained by the Association of Locksmiths of America (ALOA). American Suzuki will charge an access fee in order to cover its costs for the development and administration of its database which will be sub contracted to CDC Technologies. CDC Technologies will assure that access is secure to LSID authorization holders (whether individual or business LSID holders). ALOA will manage the validation process to accept or reject locksmith applicants, which Suzuki will accept, as a member of the NASTF VSP Committee. Suzuki will also cooperate with the VSP and NCIB (National Crime Information Bureau) in the event of suspected or proven security breech, or for investigation of individual case file irregularities.
